Build a form
- Open the project, go to Forms and create a new form.
- Add questions: short or long text, multiple choice, dropdown, number, date and time, email, phone, web address, or media (photo, video, audio).
- Mark the questions that must be answered as required.
- Publish. Every member of the project can now fill it in, online or not.
Collect answers in the field
- Open the form and fill it in.
- Attach photographs or voice notes to the question they belong to.
- Submit. The response is stamped with a GPS fix taken within the last two minutes, the time and your name.
Without signal the response, its photos and its location are kept on the phone and sent when you are back in range. Nothing has to be typed up afterwards.
Review responses
- Dashboard: counts and charts for each question.
- Table: every response, with its media.
- Map: responses plotted beside the project's features, so the sheet and the drawing agree.
Export and convert
Export responses to CSV, or geographically to GeoJSON, DXF and PDF. Responses can also be turned into map features (points, lines or areas) through the map's import, keeping each answer as an attribute.
A printable template (A4, Letter, A5 or ID-card size) can be designed for a form, with fields placed where you want them, QR codes and a background image.
